Discover Trinidad & Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago is the Caribbean's southernmost nation, sitting just off the coast of Venezuela. The two islands could hardly be more different. Trinidad is the larger, louder sibling: home to the multicultural capital, Port of Spain, and the pre-Lenten Carnival its organizers call "The Greatest Show on Earth." Tobago is quieter, with reefs, rainforest and beaches that feel a world away.

Together they offer something rare in the Caribbean: world-class festival culture, serious birdwatching and wildlife, and some of the region's most distinctive street food. Because the islands sit outside the main Atlantic hurricane belt, they also suit travelers looking beyond the usual winter season.
